Biography
Photographs are moments in time that will never exist again, introspections into our humanity. My present work examines the complex relationship between humans and their natural environment. In capturing the immediate, I want to leave a lasting impression, inspire and move the viewers. Just like words, I want my images to tell a story, change the way we perceive the world and our place within it.
Ever since I can remember, I have always been fascinated by images and passionate about photography. For the last 20 years, I have experimented with image making both digitally and in the darkroom. Ten years ago, I left Quebec, Canada to put down roots in the beautiful Sonoran desert. Just like a painter, I carefully used the imposing desert sunlight to create my photographic artworks. I am interested in many different topics and genres and love to explore new avenues in photographic art.
